Under One Roof: A New Approach to Health Care in Nicaragua
In rural Nicaragua, a clinic is trying an innovative, holistic approach to improving health care. Clínica Verde provides check-ups, treatment, and testing — but also after-school programs, neonatal workshops, and an organic garden. Here, women's empowerment, nutrition, the environment, and family health combine to form a picture of what the organization is trying to do for one community.
